Server Rules

1. No Cheating/Exploiting/Glitching/Map Exploits/Game Exploits/Weapon Glitches.
   - This includes, weapon glitches such as broken reach like The Glasser.
   - Map/Building glitches/meshing/1hp gates, etc.
   - Intentionally causing server crashes/latency/lag.
   Punishment: Depends on severity. Minimum: 24hr ban.
2. Build System
   - 15,000 pieces clan (or individual) wide.
   - No stacking ceilings/walls/pillars.
   - No covering trebs.
   - No temperature traps.
   - One meta location per clan.
   - Strategic Landclaim only, nothing excessive.
   - No Black Ice building pieces of any kind. (Inefficient textures lead to massive lag)
   Punishment: Variable depending on severity and player conduct. Minimum: Shift+Delete
3. No Zerging or Insiding Clans
   - Zerging relates to multiple clans operating as one. Numbers do not matter.
   - Insiding refers to players maliciously joining a clan, only to clear them out.
   Punishment: Variable depending on player conduct. Minimum: Base wipe.
4. Banned Abilities/Spells/Weapons
   - Bat Riding (Bringing back tower bases!)
   - Blood Crystal Chakram (Until damage ceiling is patched)
   Punishment: Inventory Nuke of entire clan.
5. Speech and Conduct
   - No hard R, don't be a dickhead. I don't like dickheads and if you act like one, I'll treat you like one.
   - Act like a well rounded adult, and you'll find all my time, respect, grace and effort will be given to you.
   Punishment: Minimum - Muting.
6. Website/Server Infrastructure
   - Attempting to circumvent constraints of scripts designed to provide variety and additional play loops is strictly forbidden. This includes dropping clan to farm shards on each other.
   - Any missuse of the Store, Bounty or Event System is strictly forbidden.
   Punishment: Atleast zero-ing out your Shard Balance.

FAQ

• What's this server about?
  This server is a retake on Official. Everything here is basically to squash the gripes of official. Cheaters, hackers, loot vacuuming, cheese raid methods like rebuilding, dagger spamming Q Lockers, and the works. All with added benefits of completely custom scripting and software running in the background. From Anti-cheats to Player driven Bounty Systems, Event Systems, Kill feeds, and more.
• Are there server wipes?
  Yes, this server wipes on a cycle. I will begin polling for a server wipe at one of these stages. Either, 60 days has passed, or, the server has not had a consistent number of players for 2 weeks. When we poll for server wipe, we're polling a time frame in which you want the wipe; for example, within 7 days, 14 days, 21 days or a month. Our wipe cycles run no less than 60 days (2 months) and no more than 90 days (3 months). Expect a wipe within that period, and you guys decide when.
• What happens to all my items/shards on wipe?
  As with any wipe, the entire in-game ecosystem is completely wiped and deleted, like a brand new server with nothing on it. That being said, Shards are not bound to this. When you reclaim your character on the next wipe (which is automated from just logging in whilst you're online in the game, you only ever have to do the Platform ID Entry once, on your first ever claim), your shards will be visible as untouched.
  
  In addition, Supporters and Super Supporters automatically receive back up to 50% of their purchased shards from the previous wipe. For example; if you purchased 1000 shards in the previous wipe, and are in the 50% bracket (due to your Supporter Status), you would receive 500 shards on Character Reclaim. Supporter levels are: Supporter: 20% of shards returned. Super Supporter (50% of shards returned).
  
  All character reclaims apply a base 15 Shard floating balance from the get go, even if you have more than 15. (including supporters, on top of their refund)
• Who is the Admin?
  I typically go by Shoresy. Shoresy is the character I play on the server with, as a regular player. (Though for the last 2 wipes, I haven't played due to being too busy with all these new features). Shoresy does not have Admin Privileges. The character in which I Admin the server on, is Zio. You don't have to call me Zio, I prefer Shoresy, Zio is just the name of the character that logs in to the server to do things.
• If you play, how do we know you're not using Admin Privileges for advantage?
  No other server will do this, because they've got things to hide.
  Server Command and RCON Logs
• How do I use the shop and player tools?
  You must log in to the website with your Discord account and claim your character. Stormglass Shards are an internal currency we use to purchase everything. More info on these things below.
• Why Discord Login?
  I use the Discord API to log you in to the website because then; you don't need to create an account here, giving me your email and password. Because you are logged in on Discord, that's enough to verify that you are you, and only you can access your character stuff. Discord sends us a Token, and it can only do that if you're logged in, everything on the website that is individual to you, is decided upon by that Token ID. This is a much more secure method and allows you to retain your privacy.
• I see I can buy Stormglass Shards for real money - do you capture my data?
  No. Here is all the data we capture for Stripe purchases. We do not retain and have no access to Credit Cards, names, anything from Stripe. The payment gateway is hosted by Stripe, and Stripe only sends us a Stripe Session ID to verify your payment is complete. We simply marry that up to your Discord ID in `claimed_characters` and if the status is exactly equal to "PAID", your Stormglass Shards are incremented by the amount that you purchased.
  
  
• How do I claim my character?
  You must log in to the website with your Discord account. If this is your first time playing, or first time claiming - you'll need your "Platform ID". This is the ID of your Steam Account, Epic Account or XBOX Live Account. It's not strictly private, and doesn't do anything for anyone but you. A quick google can show you how to get your Epic and Steam ID's, but for XBOX Live users, you'll need to contact me on Discord @shoresy (You can send me a DM or @ me in #get-help-from-admin. (It's almost impossible to get your ID, so I will just give it to you).
  
  Once you have your ID, simply enter it in to the Text Box on Player Tools, and your character will apply to your Website account as CLAIMED.
  
  NOTE: YOUR CHARACTER MUST BE ONLINE TO CLAIM IT. We do this so we can ensure nobody else can claim your character. The best way to ensure you're good to claim, is check that you are showing up in the player list under the CPU Core Status on the Server Status page.
  
  Players who have previously claimed their characters in a previous wipe, do not need to do this. Simply wait till you're online in the server status page, and then login to the website. When you log in and be redirected to the Player Tools page, your character will automatically claim itself for you, but you must be online before logging in.
